Borderlands is definitely dog friendly. Not sure about Voltron, their collaboration tap room
Of course you can. Just make sure your puppy is on a leash. We do offer 1/2 your first beer if your bring them on Wednesdays!
We have parking up front or in the lot across the street.
There is a local group that plays every Sunday afternoon, but there is no room for 2 step dancing in the taproom.
They don't usually have a food truck outside
No and no. No cocktails and no in house kitchen.
Yep Citrana is available year round in draft and cans. We also have a selection of other sours throughout the year including our most recent, collaboration with Sentinel Peak Brewing and Ermanos Craft Beer and Wine Bar (The III) and Jort Star a tropical fruited sour reminiscent of a certain pouched kids drink of yore.
Great people, great beer from what I'm told. I'm not really a beer person, but my guy is. The staff however is warm and welcoming.
Excellent beer selection, however the prickly pear wheat was my favorite.
Neat location and Friendly staff. Toole is awesome as always. Highly recommend
Very friendly staff. The girl was kind enough to let me charge my laptop while I had a few drinks. Beer wasn't too bad either, but the staff made the place.
Just wanted to thank the the manager and staff for hosting our event. Guardians of the Children Wild West really appreciated the hospitality that they showed to help support kids in need of Arizona. Again thank you for the support!Hillbilly President Wild West chapter
Great selection of beer, great live music, and a friendly crowd! Definitely will be back when visiting! :)
Awesome brewery! Friendly staff, great beer and a cool bar and brewing area.
Nice beer selection and nearly always good live music... Easy parking also! German Chocolate Cake and Dulche Noche are the standouts...
Amazing beers. German chocolate noche dulce is out of this world. Prickly pear wheat on top of citrana is unbelievable. Some of the best beers in Tucson.
Great place with a good selection of beers. Service was good and their outside space is awesome. A must stop on the Tucson beer trail.
Of the various breweries I have visited around town, this one is probably my favorite! The location DT is great whether you want to start or end an evening here or just make it your destination for the night. The ambiance is also great. There was a fantastic band playing when we walked in and everyone just looked like they were having the best time! The bar is the place to sit to be in the middle of it all, but they also have a nice seating area outdoors as well. The beer flight I had was superb and I enjoyed every beer I sampled. It was the perfect storm of good beer, a good time, and great location!
In and out. Beer to go.
Love the intimacy of the station with the train rolling by just outside the window... Beers are good. 🍺tj
Atmosphere was great and included some local art for purchase all over the walls. When we were there the taps were down so we unfortunately didn't get to try many beers. Only had a choice of 4 from cans which were still delicious. Will try again for sure and I'm sure that'll make them a 5 star establishment.
Delicious, cold beer. Great family friendly atmosphere. The staff is kind and attentive.
A nice place to grab a beer and hang out! Awesome atmosphere! The bartender was super friendly. I would recommend this place over and over. Cheers!
Great brews.Good choice.Great atmosphere.Live music.Friendly staff.Biggest restroom I've ever seen.
Great beer and location
Great brewery & atmosphere! The vanilla porter Noche Dulce is legit!! You cant go wrong hanging out here, Tucson is doing a great job of getn in the brewery game!
I love a good local craft brewery, and this is no exception. These guys are dialed in. Every time I am here I try new beers, and got the chance to try some limited stuff on my last visit. Borderlands hosted the pairings party for #TheOven17, and did a great job with it. They gave us space and took great care of the attendees. While in Tucson, make sure you visit Borderlands. They are a great local brewery and I can't wait to come back. Cheers!
They have really nice beer, especially the dark brews. The wheat beer needs a little work to make it actually interesting, but the sours are great.
Great beer, great atmosphere, half off your first beer for bringing your dog on Wednesdays!
Fun place & great beer.
Come here and ask for Pete. No further review required. Great beer, great conversation and even better craic!
Beer was decent. The building itself should be torn down or should be repaired. I’m a firm believer that no matter what your political views are, if you own a business you should never express your political view points to your customers. They have a Bernie Sanders meetup there on Tuesday’s and there are anti-conservative undertones everywhere. Bathroom has a American Nationalists Not Welcome sticker in the bathroom, and several other anti conservative paraphernalia around the building. As a conservative I didn’t feel welcome. You shouldn’t degrade a particular segment of customers because of your political views. I won’t be back.
We were enticed by the brews, enchanted by the music and company!
Little off the beaten downtown path, but worth stopping by. Big, repurposed rail space with plenty of shade. Notably Tucson rustic setup with plenty of art for sale. Broad selection of mainstays and oddities (e.g. southwestern sour with cardamom). Cool.
Very nice selection of beers. Pete was very descriptive as I worked on making my choices - this place does not disappoint! Also a very nice mellow vibe, occasional train coming by on the track visible from inside which blends nicely with the ambience.
Great Vibe, great people, building and artwork are off the chain. beer is excellent, to put it on your list
Courtney and Grace are amazing hostesses, and the craft beer selection of beyond compare. IMO, Borderlands is the best brewery in Tucson.
Love that they take an active effort to improve brews that could use improvement. There's always something reliable to drink while tasting what's new.
A stop at Borderlands Brewing was the perfect way to cap off a day of hiking at Sabino Canyon Recreation Area. A nice variety of beers from hazy’s to porters that provided subtle differences, all hit the spot.
Great beer and good bartenders! 100% recommended when visiting Tucson.
The place to stop when the Amtrak does!
Great beer, nice bartender, and nice ambient.. You have to stop by..
Awesome Tucson brewery with excellent beer and wine and a great facility. Shaded courtyard with bocce ball quart had us wanting for nicer weather (was raining when we visited). There was still plenty of room inside to spread out, and lots of nice locals to chat with. I also enjoyed the local art on the walls.
Great beer, cool environment, nice bartenders
The bartender was awesome and she made me feel great she work our Christmas party tonight for Mama's Hawaiian BBQ
We think the brewery is a very chill spot to kick back and drink beer. I did not find a game ipa. The wife felt even money with her "I THINK" PORTER.
Nice place great chips and salsa all natural
It is alright, not a really big crowd, thanks Covid!
Excellent beers. Will be back
IPA, ale - delicious. Great selection great tasting beer!
Good beer and wine. No hard alcohol served here. Fun atmosphere and good live band!
This brewery has a good variety of beers which can sometimes be hard to find. I really enjoyed the Prickly Pear Wheat but felt that the Hotchata Cream Ale didn't have much flavor. Unfortunately, the service here was pretty poor. We went on a Saturday around 5pm and there was only one bartender. We saw on the sign that they closed at 6pm for a private event, which left us an hour to enjoy our drinks. However, an employee came around just 10 minutes after we had our drinks and rudely told us we had to leave by 5:30, differing from the sign inside. There was obviously a miscommunication with the bartender because he was still serving beer as we were being pushed out. It's not safe or good service to serve pints of alcohol to your patrons as you force them out on the street.
Really good TKMA ipa.
Good beers#crafted at home#tasty
Good beer, not *great* (IMO). I really like the place though, and it's not like the beer is bad - heck, I'll go back for more for sure! Just not my favorite. Then again, I know they have a variety of styles that they make, so maybe the one that I had just wan't their best. I guess I'll have to try more! (and you won't have to twist my arm to do it either)
Borderlands makes amazing craft brews and often has a food truck on site to satisfy your beer-induced hunger. Right downtown, it is one of my favorite spots to grab a beer.
Stumbled into some great beers and live music on a Friday night. Friendly and fun atmosphere. The train does go right by and is pretty noisy. Try the horchada brew!
